Taking this approach can create disruptive innovation on the market. With this in mind, Design Stream and Robinson Plastic Packaging conceived the Rinban packaging system.

Rinban is an environmentally sustainable glass jar, which uses printed electronic technology and recyclable shape memory plastics to assist in easier access of the packaging, without compromising on the security. Rinban combines a series of emergent and sustainable technologies to answer global needs of an ageing population and a sustainable environment.

Packaging of the future must address these issues of inclusivity and sustainability to maintain brand success.
