Design Stream set out to investigate how the air care market might evolve in the next five years. Main growth in the sector has switched from fragrances which deodorise to aromas that enhance the 'mood' of an environment and create a distinct ambiance.

Looking at the potential needs of a 21st century lifestyle, Design Stream's solution, Mistraal, is a device that demonstrates how fragrance can alter moods and help delineate work, rest and play in the changing domestic environment.

Developed from concept to demonstration mock-up, the potential of Mistraal was presented to leading innovation companies in the air care sector and Design Stream's proactive approach paid off. We are now working on air care solutions with the world's largest homecare company.
