Self-heated snacks and drinks packs have become a familiar site on service station shelves. Design Stream has considered new applications for this self-heating pack technology in Home and Personal Care and ways in which it can be implemented into disposable pack formats to create active packaging concepts that demonstrate real consumer appeal.

The research and development identified just how the technology could be applied to a number of categories and found strong insights to back up each opportunity. In addition, Design Stream's IPR research identified areas where applications could be patented to ensure successful business.
