How do you make a product stand out in a crowd? Design Stream did just this for Orange in no lesser crowd than the one at Glastonbury music festival, with the Text Me Home Dome.

The innovative marketing stunt quite literally lit up the event, as Design Stream's solution enabled 'Dome owners' to text a number that makes their tent glow orange while an antenna with a flashing beacon emerged from the top.

This sounds like fun but such technology-enabled products are designed to strengthen brand loyalty and align a company with a specific target audience; in this case by engaging young music lovers with popular cultural events.

Text Me Home Dome is one of a number of similar brand-building projects that Design Stream has been working on with companies including household names such as PowerGen.
